I’m trying to, essentially, split my paper in half. I want to have my stuff looking like this:
Demand for more credits, community service, In a society that constantly tells it’s youth they must have the highest pay check and
and better grades runs many high schoolers ragged. newest car to be happy, why wouldn’t this be the case?
For many anything but the best is simply unexceptable.
That’s simply some sample text I found online, my content is completely different, but it examplifies what I want to do. The only way I could do something like this in Word would be to tab every single line, which would take way too long. Anyone know how to do this? Thanks in advance!
Step 1
Type the following into a WORD document:-

Step 2
1. I am working in Office 2007 so the commands I give below might be different in your version (2013).
With the text in Step 1 do the following:-
Place your cursor immediately to the left of:-
In a society that constantly tells
– then:-
Page Layout tab
Page Setup group
Click on the drop down arrow beneath:-
Columns
– then click on:-
More Columns . . .
The window called:-
Columns
-should open.
2. In the window called:-
Columns
– click on:-
Two
– then click:-
OK
At this point the cursor should be blinking to the left of:-
In a society that constantly tells
Step 3
3. Still in the tab called:-
Page Layout
– click on the drop down arrow to the right of:-
Breaks
– then click on:-
Column
Your text should now appear exactly as you have stated in your posting.
