Now I am 21 years old but still I prefer watching cartoons. Whenever I feel like watching them, I find a video from the internet and watch.
The Garfield Show
I am a fan of couple of cartoons but the cartoon I love the most is The Garfield Show since my childhood. Whenever I hear a sound of it from the television, I find myself sit infront of the tv in a while😂 I sometimes quarrel with my younger brother asking to watch Garfield, not the other cartoons telecast at the same time.
I don’t exactly know why I like it this much, but I guess that it is because of the main character of the cartoon, my loving Garfield. It is a cat who loves eating and sleeping the most. It especially likes to eat lasagna. One day Garfield tells what it likes the most in the world.

Greedy Garfield
As I remember it said 10 things and 9 out of it related with eating and sleeping😂 It is just like me. My mum says that the two things I do in my day is sleeping and eating🤣 So I think Garfield is just like me. My school friends also knew that I am fond of Garfield a lot so they kept writing Garfield’s name in the last page of my books when we were little. One day they had written a table of the similarities of me and it😂
Garfield is the pet cat of Jon who is always a good friend to Garfield though sometimes Garfield bullies Jon. Garfield has another friend, Odie who is the pet dog of Jon. There are some quarrels happen between Garfield and Odie for gaining more love from Jon than the other. But still they loved themselves and cannot live without each other.

Also there is another cat in the cartoon named Nermal who thinks that it is the most beautiful cat in this world. Neither Garfield nor Odie like Nermal. Around these characters, the cartoon’s story goes on so funnily.

Garfield is an American cartoon series and I love to watch the Sinhala dubbed version telecast on Sirasa tv on 5.30 on weekdays. Now I forget to watch it daily but when I heard my brother watching I too join him. I feel good to watch the Sinhala one as I can understand the dialogs easily and also I feel that the Sinhala dialogs have been added with some funny words of my country.
I don’t know since I started watching it and also the day I end loving it. I like Garfield that much.
